I see this as a place where we can plan for the future, discuss more in-depth issues. We have some of that going on in the "group", but these things tend to string out and then get lost if no one comments on them over a couple of days.
Right, but the Facebook Page doesn't take the place of a forum. It's (at this point) just a "wall" like the group page is. The only other feature is that it acts as a landing page for people who don't already "like" it. to them, it looks like this:
