Was it when the both clapped when the Rhode Island high school teachers got fired? When I saw that, I said, "This is not good. It is now open season on teachers. Blame the teachers for the ills of society."Have you noticed that forever they yahoos have tried to reform education? And with every reform, DEFORM has taken it place. Now it is just so way over the top, it's crazy. I guess when money is involved and private enterprise wants to run public schools, this is what one gets.

Money is the key. Teacher salaries and benefits amount to 100s of billions of dollars every year, and for-profits, not-for-profits, and government bureaucrats would all would like that money for themselves. All education reform is primarily designed to reallocate teacher dollars. Sad.
